1) Yuvraj Singh (India): 50 runs off 12 balls (2007)
Stuart Broad’s name will go down in the history books as the man that Yuvraj smashed for 6 sixes in an over. Yuvraj heaved and flicked Broad for 2 leg-side sixes to start the 19th over. A bended-knee six over mid wicket and a sweet strike over long-on completed the set, getting Yuvraj to his half century in only 12 balls.

Chasing a target of 190 runs to win in 14.2 overs to qualify for the Super 10s, Stephan Myburgh started in top gear and never slowed down. Myburgh scored the second fastest 50 in T20 World Cup (50 runs off 17 balls). His final contribution was 7 sixes and 4 fours in a 23-ball 63. Netherlands won with an incredible 37 balls to spare and qualified.

When Maxwell came to the crease, Australia were 8 for 2 against the Pakistan cricket team, needing 192 to win. He started off by showcasing his power hitting abilities and made it clear that the chase was on. Maxwell was dismissed after scoring 74 runs off 33 balls. Sadly, the other batters couldn’t finish the job and Australia lost by 16 runs.
