IPL Points Table Rules

  • The team winning a match will earn two points, whereas the losing team receives no points. 
  • If a match gets abandoned, both teams will receive one point each.
  • If two or more teams have the same points, the team with the most wins will be placed higher in the points table. 
  • If two or more teams are on equal wins, the team with the higher net run rate (NRR) will be placed above on the points table.
