Orange Cap in IPL 2025 - Most Runs, Orange Cap Leaders in 2025 IPL
Orange Cap, also known as the Aramco Orange Cap, is presented to an IPL player who leads the leaderboard as the batter who scored the most runs in the IPL season. This award was introduced in 2008, soon after the inauguration of the IPL. The batsman with the highest run tally wears the Orange Cap while fielding during the tournament. At the end of the season, the batsman with the overall highest runs receives the actual Orange Cap trophy.

Sai Sudharsan clinched the Orange Cap after a sensational season with the Gujarat Titans. It was the consistent brilliance of GT’s top three that fueled their playoff charge, with Sudharsan leading the pack alongside skipper Shubman Gill and T20 legend Jos Buttler. At 23 years and 231 days, Sudharsan also became the youngest to win the honour, eclipsing his teammate Shubman Gill, who was 23 years and 263 days old when he claimed the prize in 2023.

He scored 3 centuries and 4 half centuries. He is the third batter to cross the 800-run mark in one season after Virat Kohli in 2016 and Jos Buttler in 2022. In terms of runs scored in one season, he is only second behind Virat Kohli's 973 runs.
