15 September 2024 Gloucestershire beat Somerset by 8 wickets in the Final of the T20 Blast 2024. Matt Taylor (GLO) was the Player of the Match for his spell of 3/18.

The 22nd edition of the T20 Blast is being played from 30th May to 14th September 2024. Eighteen first-class county teams will participate in the 2024 season. It is a top-level Twenty20 competition in England and Wales, established in 2003 by the ECB. Somerset are the defending champions. The season ends with 'Finals Day': a single day on which both semi-finals and the final are played at the same venue.

The top 4 teams from each group qualified for the four quarter-finals, followed by two semi-finals, and the final. The Finals Day will be played on 14th September 2024 at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham.

Overall, the tournament has been won by fourteen different counties in the 22 seasons played. Surrey won the inaugural season in 2003. Leicestershire and Hampshire have won the competition three times each. Somerset have played more finals than any other team, winning in 2005 and 2023 and losing in the final in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2021. 

After Gloucestershire win in 2024, Derbyshire, Durham, Glamorgan and Yorkshire remain the four winless teams.
