The 2023 Women’s T20 World Cup is the 8th edition of women's T20I cricket international championship. The tournament is being played in South Africa (for the first time) from 10th February 2023 to 26th February 2023. Australia, 5-time winners, are the defending champions, defeating Team India in the 2020 Final. 

The ten teams taking part are - Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and West Indies. A total of 23 matches will be played in the 2023 Women's T20 World Cup across three venues -  Cape Town, Gqeberha, and Paarl.

Hosts South Africa and Sri Lanka played the first match of the tournament at the Newlands Stadium, Cape Town on 10 Feb. 2023 10:30 PM IST.
