22 July 2024 England beat West Indies by 241 runs in the 2nd Test at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Ollie Pope (ENG) was the Player of the match for his 172 runs. England won the Richards-Botham trophy as well.

The 2023-25 World Test Championship is the third edition of the World Test Championship. It started on 16 June 2023 and finish with the final at Lord's, London, in June 2025. Australia are the defending champions, beating India by 209 runs in the 2023 WTC Final. The tournament will be played over two years, with 68 matches over 27 series scheduled for the league stage. The top two teams in the points table will qualify for the final.

World Test Championship 2023-25 Points Table (After ENG vs WI 2nd Test)

The league features nine teams - all full members except Afghanistan, Ireland, and Zimbabwe. Each team will play between 12 and 22 matches against six other teams - three at home and three away. The number of games in the series can vary from two to five Tests.
