Who Won Yesterday's IPL Match 2025: RR vs GT?

A 14-year-old sensation, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, made history on Monday by smashing the record for the fastest IPL century by an Indian. He also became the youngest player ever to score a T20 hundred as the Royals secured an eight-wicket victory over the Gujarat Titans at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.

Chasing a target of 210 runs, Suryavanshi unleashed a stunning performance, scoring 101 runs off just 38 balls, which included 11 sixes and seven fours. His remarkable 35-ball century broke Yusuf Pathan’s long-standing record of 37 balls for the fastest IPL hundred by an Indian, set in 2010.
 

At just 14 years and 32 days, Suryavanshi broke Vijay Zol’s record to become the youngest centurion in T20 cricket, surpassing Zol’s achievement at 18 years and 118 days.

The Gujarat Titans set a strong target of 209/4, thanks to captain Shubman Gill's impressive 84 runs from 50 balls and Jos Buttler's unbeaten 50 runs off 26 balls. However, their performances were overshadowed by Suryavanshi, who dazzled with his aggressive strokeplay.

This convincing victory propelled the Royals to eighth place in the standings with six points, keeping their slim hopes for a playoff spot alive. Meanwhile, the Titans fell to third place after suffering their third defeat in nine matches.
