CVC Capital-owned Gujarat Titans, one of the two new Indian T20 League teams alongside Lucknow, became the final team to unveil their franchise logo ahead of the Indian T20 League 2022.

While the Lucknow Super Giants team logo was announced last month before the auction, the Titans found a unique way for their logo reveal.

Gujarat Titans curated a video of team captain Hardik Pandya, head coach Ashish Nehra, and opening batter Shubman Gill in the 'metaverse' - a parallel, virtual world - discussing the details of the logo, and what it represents for the franchise.

“Our DNA is about reaching the top and always moving upwards. There is Gujarat’s kite which is not just our passion but it is larger than life. Our motto is to share energy and unlimited power. We stop at nothing,” the trio said during their discussion before the logo was unveiled.

A combination of deep blue and subdued gold colors, the logo takes the shape of a kite. A tribute to the famous Kite Festival celebrated in the city of Ahmedabad. The franchise's title is mentioned in bold and underlined with a white lightning bolt.

Gujarat Titans’ Full Squad After Indian T20 League Mega Auction 2022

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya was drafted for ₹ 15 crores ahead of the 2022 mega auction and has been appointed as the captain of the team, this will be the first time Hardik will be leading a team in the Indian T20 league. Gujarat also added Afghanistan star leg-spinner, Rashid Khan, for ₹ 15 crore and Indian opener Shubman Gill for ₹ 8 crores ahead of the mega auction.

The team will play its home matches at the newly redeveloped Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In total, there are 23 players in the squad - 15 Indian and 8 overseas.
