The inaugural edition of the South Africa T20 League is being played from 10th January 2023 to 12th February 2023 in South Africa. The league was established in 2022 by Cricket South Africa and the first season is scheduled to be played in 2023. The first match of the 2023 season was between Cape Town and Paarl on 10th January 2023 at 9 PM IST at the Newlands Cricket Ground, Cape Town.
Six teams based out of major South African cities like Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Paarl, Pretoria and Port Elizabeth will take part in the first season. South Africa T20 League replaces the now defunct Mzansi Super League, whose last season was played in 2019.

South Africa T20 League 2023 Schedule
The 2023 edition of the South Africa T20 League will have a total of 33 games (30 group-stage matches and 3 knockout fixtures) played during the tournament. The day matches have a start time of 5 PM IST and the night matches will start at 9 PM IST.
In the group stage, every team will play each other in a home and away format. The top 4 teams will qualify for the two semi-finals, followed by the final. The final will be played on 11th February 2023. Johannesburg and Centurion will host the knockout matches.
