25 Apr 2024 Mumbai City FC beat FC Goa by 3-2 in the ISL 2023-24 semifinal leg 1 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa on Wednesday evening.

The 2023–24 ISL is the 10th season of the Indian Super League. The season will begin on 21 Sep 2023 and end in April 2024. 12 teams will compete in the league - the same 11 teams from the 2022-23 season and 1 promoted team (for the first time) from the 2022-23 I-League.

Mumbai City are the defending premiers (top of the table), and Mohun Bagan are the defending champions (winning the ISL playoffs).

2023-24 Indian Super League Teams

12 teams will take part in the Indian Super League 2023-24 season. 11 teams from the previous season and the one team promoted from the I-League (Level 2). Punjab FC are the first ever club to get promoted to the Indian Super League by winning the 2022-23 I-League.

Clubs are allowed to register a maximum of six foreign players for the season, including one Asian registered player. A maximum of four can play in a match at a time.
