Starting on 20th January 2022
Ravi Shastri is appointed as the commissioner of the Legends League Cricket. He said, “ It can’t get better than this. When you see legends and top names from the World of Cricket coming together to take on each other, it would be a treat for the Cricket fans.”
Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has joined the league as its ambassador. He said “To become the face of such a wonderful initiative is an incredible feeling. To have these Legends of the game who have given such beautiful moments of happiness and pride, back on the field again is exhilarating.”
Raman Raheja, CEO of Howzat Legends League Cricket, said “We are extremely happy to announce this partnership with Howzat. What is Legends League Cricket?
The inaugural edition of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) will feature retired cricketers in a 3-team T20 tournament. It is set to begin on January 20, 2022. The three sides, featuring past legends of the game, consists of India Maharajas, featuring a team of former stars from India, the Asia Lions, that has cricketing legends from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka, along with a World Giants squad, consisting of cricketing legends from Australia, South Africa, England, West Indies and New Zealand.

- The tournament will feature retired cricketers in 3 teams played in T20 format
- All the matches will be played at Al Amerat Cricket Stadium in Muscat, Oman
- There are 7 matches scheduled, starting from 20 January with the final on 29 January 2022
- Sachin Tendulkar is not part of the India Maharajas squad

Howzat Legends League Cricket 2022 Schedule
The Legend League Cricket is going to have two rounds and a final. There are also going to be three rest days between the games. All the matches are going to be played at the Al Amerat Cricket Stadium in Muscat, Oman. Each of the two rounds shall consist of three games each. All matches are scheduled to start at 8 PM IST.

Select a virtual team of real players from the two teams that are going to play and compete with other users. Your team scores points based on your players’ performance in the match. Here are the steps on how to play Howzat Fantasy Legends League:
- Step 1: Register on our official website or download Howzat fantasy app
- Step 2: Select the match of your choice from the list of matches available
- Step 3: Create a team of 11 players by selecting players from both the teams using the 100 credit points provided
- Step 4: Choose your captain and vice-captain and save the team.
- Step 5: Pay entry fee and join any contest from the list available for the match.

Fantasy Legends League Cricket Points System
Getting the hang of the scoring system is crucial, and it helps you select the right players in your team. Once you understand the scoring system, half the battle is won!
- Batter score points on every run scored, and on hitting a boundary/six. There are additional points for high strike rates/reaching 50 or 100 and few others.
- Bowlers get points on every wicket taken. There are additional points for bowled/lbw dismissals/maiden overs and few others.
- Fielders are awarded points for catches and run outs while wicket keepers get additional points for stumpings.
