Indian T20 League: Gujarat Team

Led by Hardik Pandya, Gujarat is one of the two new teams in the Indian T20 League. Ashish Nehra is the head coach of the team, while Gary Kirsten is the batting coach and mentor. Ashish Kapoor is the spin-bowling coach.

Gujarat have match winners in all the departments of the game. In batting, there is Shubman Gill, David Miller and Kane Williamson while Mohd. Shami is the pace spearhead for the team alongside Shivam Mavi and Alzarri Joseph. Add to that all-rounders like captain Hardik and Rashid Khan.

CVC Capital Partners, a British private equity and investment advisory firm, won the rights to operate the Ahmedabad based franchise last season.

Hardik Pandya: Gujarat Team Captain

Hardik Pandya left his mark on the Indian T20 League in his first season as captain with the Gujarat team in 2022. He played his part in the title win, scoring 487 runs and taking 8 wickets throughout the season.
