M. Chinnaswamy Stadium is a cricket stadium in Bengaluru, Karnataka. It is the home ground of the Karnataka cricket team and Team Bangalore of the Indian T20 League. It is the first cricket stadium in the world to use solar panels to run the stadium. Formerly known as the Karnataka State Cricket Association Stadium, the Chinnaswamy Stadium was built in 1969 and is named after M Chinnaswamy, former president of the Indian board, and administrator of Karnataka cricket.
