Pakistan T20 League 2022
The Pakistan T20 League is the professional T20 cricket league of Pakistan contested by six teams representing six cities of Pakistan. The league was founded on 9 September 2015 with five teams by the Pakistan Cricket Board. The teams are - Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, Islamabad and Peshawar.
The 2022 edition of the Pakistan T20 League is set to get underway from 27th January. The past six editions of this tournament have witnessed some exciting battles and nothing less must be expected from the upcoming edition.
All the franchises finalized their squads in the players’ draft, which took place in December 2021. Islamabad is the most successful team with two titles. All other teams except Lahore, have won the trophy once. The current champions are Multan, who defeated Peshawar in Season 6.

Pakistan T20 League 2022 Playoffs Format
Each team plays against the other twice in a home-and-away format in the group stage. The top four teams in the points table qualify for play-offs. The format for play-offs is different from the direct knockout format.
Pakistan League 2022 Schedule
The tournament will witness 34 matches taking place across two venues - Karachi and Lahore. The final of Pakistan League 2022 will take place on February 27. The day matches have a start time of 2.30 PM and the night matches have a start time of 7.30 PM.
