Women’s T20 World Cup 2023
The Women T20 World Cup is the international championship of women T20I cricket tournament. The eighth edition of the Women's T20 World Cup tournament is scheduled to take place in South Africa from 10th February 2023 to 26th February 2023.
The 2023 tournament consists of 10 teams, comprising the hosts, top 7 teams (based on rankings) that participated in the 2020 Women's T20 World Cup and 2 teams selected through the 2022 Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier. Australia, 5-time winners, are the defending champions.
The Women's T20 World Cup was originally scheduled to be held at the end of 2022, but was moved to February 2023 due to the 2022 Football World Cup. Arch-rivals India and Pakistan will clash on 12th February 2023 at 6:30 PM IST in Newlands, Cape Town.

Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 Groups
Hosts South Africa were joined by the 7 highest ranked teams in the Women's T20I Team Rankings, as of 30th November 2021, who played in the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup.
Ireland and Bangladesh, finalists of the 2022 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier, were the last two teams to qualify from the tournament.

2023 Women's T20 World Cup matches will be hosted at 3 venues in three cities: Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town, St George's Park Cricket Ground in Gqeberha and Boland Park in Paarl.

Women T20 World Cup 2023 Schedule
The tournament is scheduled to begin on 10th February 2023, with the tournament's final on 26th February 2023. 10 teams are divided into two groups of 5 teams each. A total of 23 matches (20 group matches and 3 knockout matches) will be played during the tournament.
All knockout matches will be played at Newlands, Cape Town. The first semi-final will be held on 23rd February, while the second semi-final will be on 24th February The final of the tournament will take place on 26th February 2023. Both semi-finals and the final have a reserve day.
