BCCI announced Team India's 15-member squad for the upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup 2024, to be played in the West Indies and the USA from 1 to 29 June. Rohit Sharma will lead the side, with Hardik Pandya named vice-captain. India will be looking to win an ICC trophy after 11 years.

The big news is Rishabh Pant's return to the side after being unavailable for 14 months due to a horrible car accident. Sanju Samson is the second wicketkeeper on the squad, ahead of experienced KL Rahul.
 

Shivam Dube and Yuzvendra Chahal have been recalled to the national side after consistent performances in IPL 2024. Kuldeep Yadav is the second frontline spinner, apart from Chahal. Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel are the spin-bowling all-rounders, while Dube and Pandya are the pace-bowling all-rounders in the squad.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Suryakumar Yadav are the only specialist batters in the team, along with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, and Mohammed Siraj are the three pacers. The four reserve players are Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Khaleel Ahmed, and Avesh Khan.
