20 August 2024 Oval Invincibles beat Southern Brave by 17 runs in the Final of the Hundred 2024. Saqib Mahmood (OVL) was the Player of the Match for his spell of 3/17. This is Oval Invincibles back-to-back Hundred title after 2023.
The fourth season of THE HUNDRED will be played from 23 July to 18 August 2024 across eight venues in England and Wales. It is a unique 100-ball cricket tournament organized by ECB and the first season was played in 2021. The first match of the 2024 season was between defending champions Oval Invincibles and Birmingham Phoenix on 23rd July 2023 at 11 PM IST at the Oval, London.
Similar to the previous three seasons, eight men's and women's professional teams based out of major England and Wales cities - Manchester, London, Birmingham, Northern, Trent, Welsh, Oval and Southern will take part in the 4th season. All the men’s matches will take place as double-headers (with women’s matches) at the same venue on the same day.

The Hundred 2024 Format
In total, there will be 32 matches in the group stage of the tournament. Each team will play four matches at home and four matches away. It will include one match against every other team and a second match against the nearest regional rivals.
After the league phase, the top three teams will qualify for the knockout stages. The 2nd-placed and 3rd-placed team will meet in the Eliminator at the Oval. The winner of the Eliminator will then meet the 1st-placed team in the final at Lord's.

The Hundred 2024 Schedule
The Hundred Rules
- Each team will play only 100 balls and the team that scores the most runs, wins.
- A bowler can bowl a minimum of 5 or a maximum of 10 consecutive balls.
- Each bowler can deliver a maximum of 20 balls per game.
- There will be a change of ends every 10 balls.
- A powerplay of 25 balls where only two fielders are allowed outside of the 30-yard circle.
- The bowling side can take a strategic timeout of up to two and a half minutes.
- No-balls are worth two runs and a free hit.
- Slow over-rates are penalized by one less fielder allowed outside the ring.
- If a match ends in a tie, both teams will be rewarded one point each.
- If the game ends in a tie during the play-off matches, both teams will play a Super Five, similar to a Super Over in T20 cricket.
- A minimum of 25 balls has to be bowled in each innings to constitute a match.
The Hundred 2024 Full Team Squads
Each team was allowed to retain up to ten of the previous season's squad. Teams had one Right-to-Match card to re-sign a player who was part of the squad last season. A players’ draft took place on 20 March 2024 to fill the remaining squad players. Teams had two wildcard picks from the domestic T20 competition, i.e., T20 Blast.
