The Brazil national football team, nicknamed The Seleção, represents Brazil in men's international football. They are the most successful national team in World Cup history (5 titles) and they have a massive fan following all over the world. They have been a member of CONMEBOL (South America Football Confederation) since 1916 and of FIFA since 1923.

Brazil have been crowned winners of Copa America 9 times and the Confederations Cup 4 times. The Brazil national football team is the only national team to have played in all World Cup editions without any absence. The Seleção also has a record 74 victories in 110 matches played at the World Cup over the years. 

 

Brazil is currently ranked No. 1 in the latest FIFA rankings. Brazil's football team has notable rivalries with its South American neighbors Argentina and Uruguay, and the European nation of Italy. Adenor Leonardo Bacchi, commonly known as Tite, has been the head coach of the Brazil national football team since 2016.
