The 2023 Women's Football World Cup will be the 9th edition of the international Women's Football World Cup. The tournament will take place in Australia and New Zealand from 20 July to 20 August 2023. 

The opening match of the FIFA Women's world cup 2023, co-hosts New Zealand vs Norway, will be on 20 July at Eden Park, Auckland (12.30 PM IST). The United States are the 2-time defending champions, having won the 2015 and 2019 tournaments. 

This will be the first Women's World Cup to have more than one host nation and the third in Asia after China's hosted 1991 and 2007 tournaments. Also, this tournament will be the first to feature 32 teams, expanded from 24 teams in 2019.
