Manchester City will take on Fulham at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League.
The Citizens had an uncharacteristically bad start to their season and sit 11th in the points table with just 4 wins in 9 games. However, they have played one game less than the teams above them in the table. With almost everyone available for selection, the squad fitness is good as compared to other teams.
Manchester City come into this game after thrashing Burnley 5-0 last weekend, before being held to a goalless draw at Porto in the Champions League in the midweek. Round of 16 qualification is secured for them.
Fulham, on the other hand, sit in 17th position with just 7 points from their 10 matches.
They have won just 2 matches so far, one of which came against title contenders Leicester City last weekend. A surprising 2-1 win at the King Power Stadium was enough for them to climb out of the relegation zone.
In 67 matches between the two sides to date, Manchester City have been dominant. They have won 34 games, Fulham have won 17, and 16 matches have been drawn. The last time these two clubs faced each other in January in the FA Cup fourth round, Manchester City cruised to a comfortable 4-0 victory. G Jesus scored a brace with B Silva and I Gundogan also on the scoresheet.
Manchester City have won each of their last nine meetings with Fulham in all competitions, scoring 27 goals while conceding just three. They are unbeaten in their last 15 games against Fulham since a 3-1 loss in 2009.
Manchester City are looking to win back-to-back league games for the first time this season, scoring as many goals in their 5-0 victory against Burnley last time as they had in their previous six Premier League games combined.
R Mahrez is City’s highest league goal scorer this season with four goals, including a hat-trick against Burnley. Each of his last eight Premier League goals have been scored at the Etihad Stadium.
Fulham’s 75% Premier League victories against Man City have come away from home, winning at the Etihad in April 2006 (2-1), April 2008 (3-2), and April 2009 (3-1). Fulham are looking to win consecutive away games in the Premier League for the first time since May 2011.

Fulham should have gained a lot of confidence from their away win at Leicester and they can come away with something on this trip to the Etihad Stadium, which remains one of the toughest tests in English football.
Man City rediscovered their ruthless streak in front of goal last weekend, and anything other than a comfortable home win will be a shocking result for the team.
