Afghanistan will take on Uganda in Match 5 of the T20 World Cup 2024 at the Providence Stadium, Guyana, on Tuesday (June 4).

Afghanistan has been part of every T20 World Cup 2024 since the edition back here in the West Indies. They won the last two T20I series against Ireland by 2-1. Rashid Khan will captain the side and will look to take Afghanistan past the group stage after a strong show in the 2023 ODI World Cup.  

Uganda will be making their debut in the T20 World Cup. They beat Zimbabwe in the Africa qualifiers for the 2024 T20 World Cup. Brain Masaba will captain the side. Mukasa and Simon Ssesazi are solid openers, while Riazat, Nakrani and Ramjani are the all-rounders in the side.
