India ODI, T20 Squad for New Zealand Series 2023

The BCCI has announced India’s squads for the ODI and T20I series against New Zealand. India will play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is against New Zealand across six venues, starting on 18th January 2023.

India ODI Squad for New Zealand Series 2023 

R. Sharma will lead the ODI team and H. Pandya will be the vice captain. Most of the team is the same as the current ODI series squad against Sri Lanka. Wicketkeeper KS Bharat has earned his maiden ODI call-up. A. Patel has been rested for this series due to his family commitments. R. Patidar replaces the injured S. Iyer.

India T20 Squad for New Zealand Series 2023 

H. Pandya continues to be the captain of the T20I team, with S. Yadav being the vice captain. Most of the squad is the same as for the Sri Lanka series, which India won 2-1. R. Sharma and V. Kohli have not been included in the T20I squad. Batter P. Shaw has earned a call-up to the T20I squad for the first time since July 2021. Wicketkeeper J. Sharma continues to be in the T20I squad while KL. Rahul has taken a break due to his family commitments. R. Gaikwad is injured and out of the T20I series.

New Zealand ODI Squad for India Tour 2023  

New Zealand Cricket has named a 15-member squad for the ODI series against India, starting on 18th January 2023. T. Latham is the captain, while K. Williamson and T. Southee are absent, having chosen not to travel after the series in Pakistan. B. Tickner and D. Bracewell replaces injured A. Milne and M. Henry in the squad.

New Zealand T20 Squad for India Tour 2023 

New Zealand Cricket has named a 15-member squad for its upcoming T20I series against India, starting on 27th January 2023. M. Santner has been named captain while pacer Ben Lister is a first-time inclusion in the New Zealand T20I squad.

India vs New Zealand 2023 Schedule

India and New Zealand will face each other in 3 ODIs and 3 T20s from 18th January to 1st February 2023. The ODI series is not part of the ODI Super League. All the ODI matches have a start time of 1:30 PM IST and will be played at Hyderabad, Raipur, and Indore, respectively. 

All the T20I matches have a start time of 7 PM IST and will be played at Ranchi, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad, respectively.
