Portugal National Football Team

The Portugal national football team, nicknamed The Seleção das Quinas, represents Portugal in men's international football. The Portugal team has a massive fan following all over the world majorly because of Cristiano Ronaldo. They have been a member of UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) since 1954 and of FIFA since 1923. They have been crowned winners of the UEFA Euro Championship and UEFA Nations League once each.

The Portugal national football team is currently ranked No. 9 in the latest FIFA rankings. Portugal's football team has notable rivalries with its European neighbors Spain (called the Iberian Derby), France and Brazil due to shared cultural traits and heritage. Fernando Santos has been the head coach of the Portugal national football team since 2014.
