Women’s T20 World Cup Highlights
The 2020 edition of the T20 Women’s world cup saw a positive start for the Indian tigresses registering a win over the mighty Australians who were the tournament favourites. After a dream run and a smooth sailing into the final, nerves got the better of the Indian women’s team as poor batting and fielding display by them led to Australia winning their 5th T20 World Cup title.

Apart from the much talked about finalists, there were so many more talking points in this edition of the World Cup. Team Thailand qualified for their first-ever World Cup and impressed with performances despite not winning a single match. Team South Africa, despite going into the tournament with a depleted squad, topped their group to reach the semi-finals.
